My package to send was this:
There were 2 China Glaze Polishes, 1 Fingerpaints Polish and 3 Wet & Wild polishes. Unfortunately, I do not have all the names because I did not realize I was going to blog about it. I also enclosed some gum (because I wanted to have something non-polish related) and some decorating supplies. There are 2 little glitter decal pots and 1 roll of striping tape.
Now, my September buddy sent me the following items:
Included were:
Julep Eloise- (which is one of my favorite polishes of the Julep brand). It is a Smoky indigo blue crème that was sent out in the last years Maven box. October 2012. Currently, it is retired and out of stock on the Julep list so I was glad to get this although I have another one.
Color Club Holo - Blue Haven- I was very excited about this one because I LOVE Holographic polishes but I only have one additional Layla brand. This applied like a charm. So smooth and literally the rainbow astounds me. The only problem with these are that you can't use a top coat to protect it. Being that I am so hard on my hands if I don't have a top coat the polish is going to come off the next day.
Orlane 90 Nail Lacquer- I had never heard of this brand and I do not have much information about it however it seems to be an amazing polish. I used it and it was a little too dark for my nails (which is surprising because I seem to like darker polishes more) but I think I will try to lighten it up with a clear flakie or glitter.
Sinful Colors Polar Opposites - This polish is a icy steel blue with light blue shimmer and is also a magnetic polish. I have used several magnetic polishes and they are not my favorites but this is just as pretty as a regular polish. The night I received the package I painted my toenails and did not use a magnet. I do think that if the magnet is used it makes the blue particles more prominent. I probably will eventually use the magnet but for now, I just like the polish.
Extras were cotton pads (for removal), apple slices to decorate nails and some stickers. I have not had a chance to use those yet. All in all for my first swap, I was extremely pleased!
