My Ipsy Bag this month was AMAZING!!!!!! This was only my second bag but all in all if I get bags like this every month, I am 100% in!
First: Buxom in Dolly. This retails for around $18 at Sephoria and this is about 1/2 the normal size so I am estimating it to be around $8 for the sample. I have seen this many times at Sephoria but have not purchased it as I do not normally purchase lip gloss. This has peppermint in it so it makes your lips tingle. It is not unpleasant but not really something that I prefer. I used it with lipstick under it and that seemed to make it better for me. I do not like the "sticky"' feeling of the lip gloss but it would be something that is good to have in my purse just in case. Would I purchase this? Probably not but I will use it.
Next up was LA Fresh Eco-Beauty Oil Free Face Cleanser Wipes. These retail for $10 for 30 and I received a package of 10. I tried these this weekend and they felt refreshing on my skin. I have used other makeup wipes in the past but out of the ones that I have tried, I like these the best. If I could find them in a local store, I would purchase them for travel. I would probably not use them daily because I normally use a tube cleanser.
I also received bigsexyhair Blow Dry Volumizing Gel. I tried this the night I got my package and it did not work. Maybe since my hair is long? I do have very thin hair so I was expecting this to do something for me alas, it did not. This retails for around $12 and I would estimate this to be about $4 if I purchased it outright. I do like their hairspray so while I would not purchase this particular product, I will purchase it again in the future.
I have saved the best for last. This is Nourish Organics in Coconut and Argan Lotion. I love this stuff. I tried to find it in a Target while I was traveling and I was unable to find it. I am going to look around the local Target's and see if I can locate it. If not, I will be ordering it online. It has a light coconut smell but not very strong or overpowering. It is smoothing and appears to last quite a while on my hands. This retails for around $10 so I would also say that this product is about $3.
I also received the bag at the top and all together my total was $10 with free shipping. So even though the samples are small, it is a good way to really expand your beauty items without committing to purchase a bigger bottle.
