September 2013 Nail Mail Exchange

I am REALLY enjoying my nail polish swap group on Facebook.  Polish Package Pals is the name of my group and every month we have a new buddy! We have a list of things that we "wish" for and then we choose a tier. Tier 1 is $10, Tier 2 is $20 and Tier 3 is $30. At the end of the month we are partnered up and we receive that much in nail polish and then some extras. Why I like this group so far is that you can choose to do it from month to month! That really makes it good if there is not any "flex" money that month. Anyway onto what I received.

I received 2 of the Color Club Holographic Edition Colors in I think in Kismet (green)and Eternal Beauty (purple). The green bottle did not have a sticker on the bottle but it is the only green from that collection so that is what I am going with. There was also an orange Sally's Girl polish and a stamping polish.

My goodies/extras included a Deborah Lippman "The Stripper" polish glove, Julep Rock Star, Nail Polish Removal pads, foot file, white striping tape and Hello Kitty Decals. Now my "buddy" did not know that I LOVE Hello Kitty and I have wanted to order them several times.

So far I have swatched the Color Club Eternal Beauty polish. Please excuse my pictures as I am using my Iphone because that is what I have with me all the time. Look at that shine! This is a very linear holo and covers very well. This is 2 coats with no top coat. I have found that my nails do not keep color long without a top coat but I just can't bear to cover up all that Holo goodness!

This is one of my Hello Kitty Decals. The polish is a Zoya polish in "Renee" which I chose because it is my name. I have found that this polish is more of a jelly/sheer polish and does not wear long on my nails. I kept this manicure for around 2 days before I took it off. This was one of the first times I have had a larger decal on the nail and I found it easy to apply and remove.

I have enjoyed BOTH of the swaps that I have done with the ladies in my group. It is fun to receive a package every month.
